Hi Ajay
At 9 months old your pup still has quite a bit of growing to d, but he will be reaching his full adult height well before he reaches his full weight.

I’d recommend that you take a look at my Rottweiler Breed Standard page because it shows the ‘ideal’ height and weight for this breed as stipulated by both the AKC (American Kennel Club) and the ADRK (Allegmeiner Deutscher Rottweiler Klub) in Germany.

According to the above recommendations, an adult male Rottweiler should be anywhere between 24″ and 27″. But many Rotties fall outside of these figures, either shorter or taller. Unless a dog is destined for the show ring or breeding show pups, their height and weight isn’t of a huge concern. Their health is more important.

It would seem that your Rottie pup is probably going to be within the limits of the breed standard, or possible just a fraction taller, but only time will tell.

He won’t be mature until at least 18 months to 2 years and possible not until 3 years of age. At that point you will know where he falls in relation to the breed standards.

Hope this helps, best of luck with your Rottweiler.
