cute pup but too young to use the stairs on his own like that. I promise you he will have joint issues in the hip if that continues. Please carry him up and down steps until you are unable to bare his weight on your own. I learned this the hard way. No jumping on and off furniture that is to high for him to stand taller than he is ok. Good Luck
