I have 11 month old rott. She is not take food(Last 45 days). if i compel she take some from it. i don’t know what happened to her. 3 weeks before i consult a VETERINARIAN he check her blood, motion, parvo test, etc..and he said me that some worms are there. and at that time she had little fever. Doctor says don’t worry. and he suggest Doxy 100mg for internal wounds and some tablets for fever also. but after 3 days i check her temperature. at that time it is normal. as per the doctors suggestion i stop tablets for fever.

But she is not ready to eat food. if i compel eat some from it. but she drink a lot of water. today i check her temperature, it shows 103. i don’t know what happened to her. her motion sees very black color. one and half month before her weight is 31kg. last week i check it, that is also 31 kg. But she is very active.

Hi Soorya
I’m not a veterinarian so this is something that you really should talk to your vet about again. It’s interesting that she hasn’t actually lost any weight considering that she’s not eating much at all, and that she had worms.

Although she hasn’t lost weight, at this age she should be gaining, so things could be worse, but they could be a lot better too! If her stools seem very dark that may indicate some internal bleeding so perhaps she still has whipworms or some other kind of parasitic disease. Your vet can make a diagnosis by taking another stool sample.

A dog’s normal temperature is between 100 and 102F, so at 103F she does have a fever, that could indicate infection, and this is definitely a case for you vet to investigate.

The fact that she’s active and seems to be okay otherwise is a good sign, and hopefully your vet will be able to make a diagnosis and get her treatment to clear up whatever is causing her loss of appetite etc.

I wish I could help more, but this really is something you need ‘hands-on’ help with. Best of luck, hope your girl is doing much better soon.

Hi soorya,
If i am right you had asked a question with this rotty pup earlier too. comparing with standards.

I am happy to see her now, she is really looking good. good muzzle stop and chest width too improving. nicely progressing as she is growing.

about the foods. a diagnosis more on intestinal health is recommended.

do try changing the kibble or foods what you give.

as pups grows they stop eating food as they do at pup stage. from 3 to 5 times a day.. they eat only 2 times a day.

she is looking beautiful and all the best to you
caring and concern you have is what a pup need to overcome any issues as they face.
