Hi,
My puppy is humping over me and my friends. He is getting aroused so easily when I play with him. Is there any way to stop this by training?
We don’t have any professional trainers in my area, so is there anything I could do myself?

In a young puppy this behavior isn’t really sexual, it’s more of a dominance thing. Littermates and other pups often play like this in attempts to show each other who’s ‘the boss’.
Your pup is probably simply trying to exert his authority and it’s not something that you need to worry too much about. However, it is a behavior you want to discourage as you don’t want your puppy to feel as though he is in charge at all.
I’d recommend just giving him a verbal correction, saying ‘No’ in a low, firm voice whenever he decides to ‘hump or mount’ a leg, toy, other dog etc. Then redirect his attention to a favorite toy or game. Don’t get upset or angry with him, he won’t understand why. Just tell him no, and get his mind onto something else. This behavior will then fade over time.
