I’m a retired Marine Corps 1STSGT. I have two German Rotts. I served in a Recon Team with 2nd Recon BN.
I named my boys “GUNNY” and “RECON” Gunny is short for a rank in The Marine Corps a Gunnery Sergeant. This Marine is ofter referred to as Gunny.
Recon, well that speaks for itself.
I love my Rotties, they are 8 months old now and are like sponges they learn so well and true they loooove to work.
GUNNY and RECON are at their happiest when engaged in training or play.
