the week i brought her home.. so small

I adopted kiba from a pet store when she was only 3 months. I was not originally looking for a rottweiler but she caught my eye immediately; and when asked to see her, she passed my sister and ran straight for me.

She won my heart.

Unfortunately, most likely because she was from a pet store, kiba became very sick within the first week of bringing her home.. to the point of one more day without help and she would have died. (She was pretty much gone when I brought her to the hospital.) I was given the choice to pick another puppy or pay for the medical treatment to try and save her. I couldn’t let her die. She was mine and so amazing.

Within 4 days I was able to bring her back home.
a little weak but much better.

Today she is healthy, around 90- 100 lbs, and gaining muscle.

She is always happy, loves everyone, & always wants attention.(Never fails to get excited and pee everywhere lol.)She is smart, stubborn, and is an amazing guard dog. All on her own.

The only problem is that kiba thinks she’s a small breed when it comes to wanting to lay across you to watch tv. Loll

Best decision I’ve ever made. <3

I am so glad your pup made it. I had a similar situation and almost lost my baby… he is all better now and I do not regret saving his life! Adorable doggie!
